The successful candidate will partner with Risk and Compliance
Officers, Money Laundering Reporting Officers, and other key leaders
globally to implement new and evolving AML/KYC policies and practices
focusing on digital identity verification customer-centric risk
management. This role will report to the Director of AML Innovation
within the larger GFC organization. The successful candidate will be
highly efficient with exceptional communication skills and proven
ability to lead through change while balancing multiple projects and
priorities.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: ?
* Identify and assess the ML/TF risks relevant to PayPal?s
customers and strategic partnerships, building deep subject matter
expertise regarding PayPal?s products and services, partner
relationships and payment flows
* Partner with GFC stakeholders to identify, evaluate, prioritize
and implement strategic AML/KYC transformation initiatives
* Evaluate controls designed to mitigate ML/TF risk as well as
mechanisms for identifying and addressing changes in the business
environment and risk landscape
* Prepare executive level presentations to ensure ongoing awareness
of PayPal AML/KYC program trends, progress, and opportunities
REQUIREMENTS: ?
* Minimum of 7 years of AML/KYC Compliance or similar experience.
* Degree and/or relevant experience in a manager level position at a
financial institution or consulting firm is preferred.
* Experience in defining or executing AML/KYC program
strategy/transformation
* Experience with evaluating enterprise and market-specific AML/KYC
program requirements and identifying process improvements
* Ability to define product requirements for technology stakeholders
* Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability
to partner effectively at multiple levels and across disciplines.
* Ability to organize, prioritize, and lead tasks within a complex
global AML/KYC program in a changing regulatory environment
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills
* Experience creating and delivering presentations to executive
audiences and external stakeholders
* Proven ability to execute in a fast paced and deadline driven
environment
